Summer Limericks

You have probably written limericks during some of your English lessons.

If you can't remember what a limerick looks like, here are a couple of examples to remind you:

There once was a teacher named Gray
Who said to her students one day,
"Now, you have until one,
to get a limerick done."
The class groaned the hour away!

There once was a fellow named Tim
whose dad never taught him to swim.
He fell off a dock
and sunk like a rock.
And that was the end of him.

Task

Write a limerick about forthcoming summer holidays.

Using the software of your choice, create an A4 poster with your limerick in the centre. Format the font so that it is easy to read from a distance.

Decorate the poster with a suitable border and images so that it can be displayed.

Remember to put your name on your limerick poster.
