5. Technological part of the system
This aspect of the system includes all the electronic, computing and mechanical parts of the system that exist to allow the system to fulfill its role.
For example
- Computers. To store, manipulate and process data
- Peripherals. To provide outputs in a suitable format. e.g. printers
- Service machinery. For example an 'Electronic Point Of Sale' (EPOS) within a system called 'shop'.
- Production machinery. For example, lathes, milling machine, CNC machines in a system called 'Factory'
- Customer facing machines. These are present to allow customers to interact with the system. For example, slot machines in a system called 'Casino'.
