You might recognise some of the specialist graphics packages above.

Some cost hundreds of pounds and are intended for professionals, or you can use a low cost or even free graphics package for your own use.

Professional packages will have hundreds of features that take years to learn, especially to use them creatively. But they do share some basic features with simpler software as well.
