10. Features available: page numbering; page count; word count
Page numbering is such a common requirement, that word processors include a method of adding them automatically to the footer or header. The application keeps track of page numbering for you.
Page Count is also common, so a footer might look like
PAGE 27 of 153.
Word Count. Students may be asked to write essays within a certain word count e.g. write a 3000 word essay. The application can count the words for you. A typical place to see word count is by clicking on the menu: File -> Properties -> Statistics.
