3. Requesting Information

Anyone, anywhere in the world can send a request to see the information. 

You need to send either a letter, fax or email to the relevant authority. 

You are not obliged to explain why you want the information and they are not allowed to ask.

The public authority must say whether it holds the information, and if it does, it must provide it within 20 working days.
