Magnetic Stripe Reader
An input device which reads the magnetic stripe on the back of a credit card.
You swipe the plastic card through the magnetic stripe reader slot. The reader is able to 'read' or interpret the data contained within the magnetic stripe on the card e.g. bank account number.
Bank and Credit cards contain a magnetic stripe, so do club cards and loyalty cards.
