Dynamic Link
A 'link' in a connection between an application (such as a spreadsheet) and some external data.
A 'dynamic link' is one where the connection remains active all the time. So if the external data changes, then the application automatically updates itself.
Dynamic Links are very useful to keep applications right up to date with the latest information they need.
