This is the term used to plan a route from one place to another. For websites, it means a method has been provided for you to jump from one webpage to another.
'Menus' are very popular navigation method. A 'Menu' may be made of graphical images such as the ones you see on the left.
Another very popular form of navigation is the text 'hyperlink' often embedded in the main text but coloured differently to give you a clue it is there.
