Why choose ICT?

Students will ask you prior to making their GCSE and A Level choices and parents often ask this question during parents' evenings.

Recently a group of teachers put forward a number of excellent suggested answers that you can use in conversations and presentations (Twitter hashtag #whyict).

Here are 20 different reasons that they suggested:

Look around you, everyone can 'use' a PC, but are they efficient effective independent users...stand out from the crowd @misterel

For the Project Management skills & the chance to experiment, interact with real clients & make links with ICT in the real world @largerama
