Charts and Graphs

The ticks indicate the suitability of resources for each Key Stage.

This task provides a step-by-step list of instructions for the tasks that students need to follow.

They will create a spreadsheet from scratch, format it correctly, learn or practice techniques such as wrapping, merging cells etc.

They will then use their spreadsheet to create two different types of charts.

This task will probably take one to two lessons or one lesson plus homework for a very good class.

Encourage students to be independent by using the video tutorials to support them when they are unsure of how to do something.
