This has proven to be extremely popular since we launched it over a year ago, as students love the idea of creating a real computer game for themselves. It is based on 'Game Maker' a fantastic game-making package that is free to download in its limited form - which is all you need for Pixel8.

We have created a complete seven lesson SoW which includes all lesson plans, starters, plenaries, resources, homework and extension tasks. All resources are fully editable and can be adapted to suit your needs.

There are 58 video tutorials which enable students to learn how to use Game Maker right from the basics through to many of the more complex sequencing actions. All tutorials are broken down into manageable steps which enable students to work independently and at their own pace.
