Project Cyborg

Many of you will have watched Star Trek: The Next Generation and will be familiar with The Borg.

Is the concept of cyborgs - part human, part machine, just science fiction or could it really happen?

Your task:

Use the Internet to undertake some research about cyborgs and write a short report explaining what you have found out. Remember to give real life examples and where possible include relevant images. Also, make sure that you discuss the ethical issues, the advantages and the disadvantages which might arise by someone becoming a cyborg.

Include a bibilography to show the websites which you used.

Once you have finished your report, print it out - remember to include your name in the footer.

Create a design by hand to show how you think a future cyborg might look and add this to your report. Annotate your design to explain your ideas.
