| It would be interesting, to an extent, but the possible downfall also poses a risk. Besides, Credit Cards/Debit Cards are just representations of Money, and when you buy something, you are actually giving money you never had, so to speak. For example, unless you actually have the money in your pocket, you do not own that money. Thus the government may choose to withdraw that money, leaving you out of pocket, and hey presto, another credit crunch

| I think money is more common and this can not be replaced with debit cards. Why cards or mobile phones. Firstly people may not even have mobile phones and it would be alot of hassle with mobiles or cards. If your card gets stolen then its another problem so i think money's the best way round it and this should not change

| credit cards are great but u cud for get a password n if the password n the card wer together it cud mean u lose all ur money. but if u hav cash n sumone robs u, u wont losse loads of money coz u wont carry £100 cash on u

| I think the Cash would remain and make universal currency to have a base rate. If we changed to credit cards there would be more frauds commited.

| i think that money should live on, credit cards can so easily be clonedstolen stolen. i do see the down side of carrying loads of cash around but so many things can go wrong with a credit card
