Task idea - PosterStudents love to be creative, and lets face it, anything which helps the important message of health and safety stick in their minds has to be a good idea. Ask students to choose suitable software to create a poster about how to avoid health and safety problems at work/school. The mini web site should provide sufficient material.

Task idea - Health and Safety VideoStudents could produce a health and safety public information video. Using the theory the students have learned, they should design, plan and edit a short public information video about this topic. The video can include the students acting or they could use stop animation and plasticine models to get their message across. This project should take approximately 3-5 lessons. Task idea - Information leafletThe headmaster would like to create a new set of information leaflets which could be given to year 7 students when they arrive next September. However, he knows very little about computers, so he has asked you to design a leaflet using Microsoft Publisher. The title of the new leaflet is to be, 'Health and Safety for computer users'. The mini web site should provide sufficient material. |
