The traditional method of teaching and imparting knowledge involves using textbooks. Teachers ask students to read a section about a specific topic and then answer questions in the book.
Nowadays the focus of teaching and learning has changed from students being "spoon-fed" information to students being required to find out things for themselves.
There are a whole range of different methods that can be used in classrooms today to impart knowledge to students.
