9. 3D CAD Practice

This exercise shows some of the controls you have in a 3D CAD application. Use the buttons to define a 3D shape and then rotate it around. Add your name and print it out if you wish.

Point to note:

• The basic drawing in a 3D CAD application is the wire-frame
• You are able to rotate the wire frame so it can be viewed from any angle
• The drawing can be printed - so it is easy to make copies
• Each drawing has an author
• Each drawing has a scale defined
