Create a PPT about storage devices

Students could use the mini-website from the student area to help them create a PPT about input devices.

Here is an example created by two of my students, Joanne and Emily

Worksheet 1

Students are given a table with the most common storage devices. They are then asked to compare them for use, size, advantages and disadvantages, using the information from the website above.

Worksheet 2

Students are asked to complete the text about different storage media by filling in the gaps with the correct word. This is a useful way of checking understanding and to provide a useful aid for revision.

Worksheet 3

Students are asked to think about different storage capacities.

They are also asked to consider the size of different storage media. This is useful for them to know in an examination, where a question often asks them to recommend the correct storage media for a given situation.
