1. Click on the Access button on the right and save the 'skiing' database to your area. 2. Open the database.

3. Open the table called 'skiing' 4. Go to design view

5. On the field ‘temp’, enter a validation rule which will only accept temperatures of 10 or below. The validation text should say ‘Please enter a temperature of 10 degrees or less’ |

| 6. On the field ‘piste’ enter a validation rule which will only accept the following terms ‘good’, ‘packed’ ‘compact’ hard’ and ‘icy’. The validation text should say ‘Please only enter, ‘good’, ‘packed’, ‘compact’, ‘hard’ or ‘icy’. | |
| 7. Go to the display view of the table | |
| 8. Change the width of the ‘resort’ column so that all of the data shows. | |
9. Click the 'Hint' button and enter the data shown there into the table. If you want to keep the pop up window visible to save you flicking back and forward, minimise the size of your Access window and position the pop-up window so that you can see it at the same time. |
