22. It is now time enter some data into your table.

You don't need to enter anything into the 'Costume ID' field because you set it to 'autonumber', so it will automatically be given a new number every time you create a new record.

Click the tab key to move from 'Costume ID' to 'Name of costume'.

23. Under 'Name of costume' type 'Superman.

24. You set up a validation rule for 'dress size' so let's try it out to see what happens.

Enter 6. You should find that the error message which you wrote in the validation text section appears.

Change the 6 to 12.

25. You set up a validation rule for 'gender' - lets see what happens when you try to enter something other than 'male' or 'female'.

Enter 'dog'. You should get an error message.

Change 'dog' to 'male'

26. You set up a validation rule for 'date of purchase' to only accept dates of 01/01/2002 or after.

Try entering 30/12/2001 and see whether it is accepted. Hopefully your error message popped up.

Change the date to 05/07/2005

27. You set up a validation rule for 'selling cost' to only accept prices of £100 or below.

Try entering an amount above £100 and see if the error message appears.

Change the selling price to £87.99

28. In the 'good condition' field, click the square box.

This will record 'yes' in this field.
