25. You have set your table up in 'design view'.

You now need to enter data into the table. In order to do this, you need to go to the 'datasheet' view.

Click on the 'datasheet' icon below the word 'file'

You should get to a view which looks like this:

26. Notice that the titles in some columns are obscured:

• Name of costume
• Date of purchase
• Good condition

You need to widen the columns so that the titles show clearly.

Hover your cursor between 'name of costume' and 'gender' where the two boxes meet. Your cursor should change from a thick white cross to thin black arrows.

When your cursor changes, click your mouse, hold the left button down and drag the column so that it is wide enough to show the titles

27. Repeat this for all of the columns which have titles obscured.

28. You may decide that you wish to change the order of certain fields.

Single click on the grey area where the title for 'gender' is. You should see that the column goes black.

Hold your mouse button down over the field name and drag it to the left so that 'gender' now comes after 'dress size'
