1. Click on the Access button on the right and save the 'dvds' database to your area. 2. Open the database. This database is used by a DVD rental company to keep records of all of the DVDs they hold in stock, customer records and details of all rentals. |

3. Open the customer table by double clicking on 'Customers' 4. Some of the titles and text in the columns is obscured because the columns are too narrow. Resize the columns so that all of the data shows properly. |

5. Go to the 'design view' of the customer table. 6. The field size for every text field is set at the default number of 50 characters. Change every text field to a more appropriate length. 7. Change the 'date/time' field to display 'medium date' 8. Save the changes that you have just made. |
