Workbook 5 1. Introduction
In the previous section you were introduced to some of the main output devices. You should now be able to decide which output device would be the most suitable to choose for a specific task.
It is vital that you have a way of saving the document that you are currently working on. It is also vital that you can save software applications that you use on your computer.
This next section will introduce you to the different types of memory and storage devices that you need to know about.
You don't need in-depth knowlege of each method of storing data or instructions but you do need to be able to make comparsions between them and also to choose the most appropriate one for a specific task.
