Workbook 3 1. Introduction
In the previous section you were introduced to the different types of computer. You should now be able to decide whether a supercomputer or a laptop would be sufficient to undertake a specific task.
Once you know what type of computer you are going to use, you have to have a way of putting your data into it. To input data you need an 'input device'.
This next section will introduce you to the different types of input devices that you need to know about.
You don't need in-depth knowlege of each input device but you do need to recognise which would be the most suitable for specific types of data.
