Some key points
Because printers are being shared people have to wait their turn for their documents to be printed
If the main file server breaks down then the whole network becomes useless and no one can carry on working
Networks are expensive to set up and maintain. Because networks are complex they often need expensive, expert staff to look after them
As the number of users increase on the network the performance of the system can be affected and things can start to slow down.
You might find that somebody has overwritten your work or replaced your version of a file with their own.
