Magic 8 ball student selectorThe magic 8 ball app. chooses a student at random from a list of student names you type in. You can also turn on weighting so that students who get a question wrong are more likely to get asked another question and conversely students who get questions right are less likely to be asked in future. You can set the weighting limits to whatever you like or simply turn weighting off. To use:

You must have your macro security settings turned to low (tools > macro > security)
'This game can be used for plenary questioning to check understanding of the concepts taught
'The board is populated from questions entered in the notes page
'Each question must start with a letter followed by a colon (no space) then the question
'There should be 20 questions (any less will leave spaces on the board
'The blue team should have significantly fewer members as they need a string of 4 blocks (as opposed to the yellow team who need five to win)
'Start the presentation
'Click 'Start' to populate the letters
'If a block is clicked once, the letter is emphasised and the question is displayed
'If the block is clicked again the block is coloured blue (Blue team correct answer)
'If the block is clicked again it turns yellow (Yellow team correct answer)
'If clicked again the block turns grey (no correct answer)
'If clicked again the block resets back to its original state
‘The winning team is the first to connect a line of their colour from one end of the board to the other
'Click reset to clear the board
The code assumes that the game is in the first slide - do not add any slides before the 'game' slide.
