2. Modelling a human

The concept is to consider a human being as if they were a computer, made up of input sensors, various kinds of memory storage, processing nodes and output actuators.

How does an input result in an output? The diagram below shows a simplified model human processor as proposed by Card, Moran and Newell back in 1983.
