8. GPS and Mapping

Mapping is big business. When you think of maps you are probably thinking of road maps:

But we need maps for all sorts of things.

For example a map of crop growth in a farming region:

A surveyor would be hired to plot out the best growing regions. To carry out this task the surveyor would use GPS to map out the region.
