This mini website can be used as a source of information for students to research OSI.

It has been written in user friendly language which should aid their understanding of this often complicated topic.

Students could use the site to write revision notes, create a Powerpoint presentation, a Mindmap or answer a set of questions.

This Powerpoint provides a brief introduction about Standards. It could be used as an aid to prompt a discussion with students.

This document can be printed out and given to students as a revision guide or as an information sheet to support a task e.g. Powerpoint presentation, Mindmap

Protocols and Standards: Portability - North Chadderton

A comprehensive set of notes written specifically for the AQA syllabus. However, they are just as relevant for the OCR spec.

This is really focused on general standards rather than specifically on OSI. However, it would be useful to support the discussion of why OSI is needed.
