This mini website can be used as a source of information for students to research this topic.

It covers the different terms that students need to know about the different methods of connecting digital LANs to analogue or digital WANs.

Students could use the site to write revision notes, create a Powerpoint presentation, a Mindmap or answer a set of questions.

 

Methods of organising LANs and WANs - Task

This task asks students to use the mini website above in order to answer a set of questions about connecting LANs to WANs.

The task has been designed specifically for the OCR syllabus, however, there is no reason why it could not be used or adapted for other boards.
