| There are three very common terms
that are linked to each other. They describe particular stages in
information handling. They are: Input, processing and output. You are often asked for a definition of these terms in the exam. Make sure you can explain them. Along with a definition, many times you will be asked to draw a diagram to show the stages. It is essential that you learn the diagram below, along with the direction of information flows. You need to be able to reproduce it exactly.
